Celebrating its 10th anniversary year, theCoors Light Líderes program continues to support and recognize emergingLatino leaders for their achievements and commitment to making a positive change in their communities. Líderes concluded its 2016 Call for Nominations period in June and will soon be ready to select 12 outstanding finalists from submissions of more than 600 local and national nonprofits. Finalists will be selected based on their achievements and impact of their work. Starting September20th through the end of October, the 12 finalists (age 21+)will participate in a public online voting competition atwww.coorslightlideres.com where the public can vote. The finalists chosen as the 2016 Coors Light Líder of the Year will receive a $25,000 grant to implement a community service program. The Coors Light Líderes program demonstrates its on going commitment to communities by embracing the values that encourage people to take on challenges and explore new opportunities. Since 2006, Latino leaders in the program have risen to achieve success and create opportunities for others to successfully climb through obstacles and make a positive impact to empower their communities.
