WASHINGTON, January 11, 2021 – The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is pleased to announce that the survey submission window for the 2021 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index (CII) is now open.
For over 12 years, the HACR CII has been the premier tool for assessing Corporate America’s diversity and inclusion practices related to Hispanic stakeholders. The questions in the 2021 HACR CII survey will inform participants’ Hispanic diversity and inclusion ratings, later delineated in the annual CII Report. These questions assess the practices and outcomes of corporations’ Hispanic inclusion initiatives in four key areas: Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance.
“We encourage corporations to participate in our 2021 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index,” said HACR president and CEO Cid Wilson. “The CII Report drives corporate policy and engagement strategies at companies across industries. It serves as a guidepost for those committed to taking advantage of opportunities to increase equity for Latinos in the areas of corporate governance, executive leadership, partnership networks, and communities.”
HACR’s most recently published report, the 2020 HACR CII Report, can be reviewed online now. The report reveals which companies received five-star ratings in each of the four pillars and analyzes the aggregate findings of the survey.
“Each year, the HACR CII Report offers an opportunity for change,” says Eric Lopez, HACR director of research. “For our corporate partners who participate annually in the survey, we can track, support, and recognize the diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts that are improving socio-economic opportunities for Latinos at all levels of the corporate world. We strongly support the participation of our first-time partners in the survey and look forward to helping them use the report to evaluate spaces for growth within their corporations. It is a true win-win situation for every participating organization.”
