What were the Hispanic inclusion trends in 2022?
The 2023 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index™ (CII) report showcases the HACR CII ratings designed around two focus areas – a practice assessment and an outcomes assessment for each of HACR’s four pillars: Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance. The 2023 report highlights activities from the 2022 calendar year.
In each pillar, the practice assessment consists of 25 elements that examine what type of support or infrastructure a company has in place for diversity and inclusion, while the outcomes assessment examines five key indicators by which we can evaluate progress.
Key findings from the 2023 HACR CII include:
- Hispanics make up 15% of the workforce.
- 1% of total procurement spend was with Hispanic businesses.
- 10% of total corporate donations went to the Hispanic community.
- Hispanics hold 5% of executive positions.
We extend our thanks to the 92 companies who demonstrated their commitment to Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America through their participation in the HACR CII.
