Ten years ago, MillerCoors launched the Coors Light Líderes program to highlight and recognize up-and-coming Latino leaders and showcase the work they are doing across the country. This year, the 10th Líder is JoAnna Cintron, who was recognized and honored at a special reception in Denver, where the Coors Light Líderes program was launched.
Cintron is the marketing and communications manager of the Denver Film Society and co-founder of CineLatino. She was selected as the 2015 Coors Light Líder of the Year through an online public voting competition in November 2015. Cintron is a creative and inspiring Latina leader who believes in the power of film to educate, entertain, and empower. The Coors Light Líderes program values the contributions of Latinos by empowering them with professional development opportunities to help them give back to their communities.
Each Líder of the Year receives a $25,000 grant to develop a leadership program in partnership with the nonprofit organization who nominated them.
