Leadership Pipeline Program Postponed
In early October, we unexpectedly learned that our host hotel, the San Jose Marriott is experiencing a work-stoppage by its unionized employees. The work stoppage does not have a conclusion date, as the hotel and union undergo contract negotiations. Given the situation between the hotel and its union employees, there is a risk that the strike could be prolonged for an undetermined amount of time, we cannot assure delivery of a high-quality HACR Leadership Pipeline Program (LPP) on October 28-30, 2018. After discussions with the hotel management, Marriott International, and our HACR senior team and board of directors, we concluded that it is in the best interest of our attendees, sponsors, and speakers to postpone the 2018 HACR LPP to May 19-21, 2019 at the San Jose Marriott. We apologize for the inconvenience this unexpected change may cause you. We are committed to making this date transition as smooth as possible given the unexpected and unforeseen situation at the host hotel. Please access the 2018 HACR Leadership Pipeline Program FAQs for program logistics and registration questions. If you have any additional questions about the postponement and rescheduled dates for 2018 HACR LPP, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org. HACR’s newest program, the HACR Leadership Pipeline Program (LPP) was launched in 2015 to provide companies with a forum to develop their Hispanic employee resource group (ERG) leaders as well as mid and upper level Hispanic corporate leaders. The HACR LPP builds upon the legacy and success of the HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ program, expanding opportunities for high-potential talent to network and develop leadership and managerial skills to take them to the next level and positively impact their respective companies.
The one and a half day convening consists of leadership development workshops and business sessions, featuring subject-matter experts and thought leaders in the areas of corporate governance, management, leadership, personal branding, employee resource groups, and more.
